Billie Jo Simoneau

Billie Jo (BJ) Simoneau has been a Licensed Mortgage Broker since 1992. Prior to becoming licensed, BJ was a branch manager with Wachovia Bank. Billie Jo has a BS in Business, with Minors in Real Estate and Banking from Fairmont State University in Fairmont, West Virginia. She earned her MBA in 1995 from Nova Southeastern University. Billie Jo is a Certified National Instructor for the Foundation of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP). As such, she travels the State of Florida instructing Continuing Education Courses to licensed mortgage professionals. She is a Past President of the Volusia Chapter of FAMP and is an active member of the Central Florida Chapter. Billie Jo is a Past President of the MainStreet DeLand Association and a current Board Member. She is a Past President of the DeLand Bike Rally Board and the Athens of Florida Business and Professional Women’s Club. Billie Jo is a member of the Crew of Maravedi, the Affiliate Committee of the West Volusia Association of Realtors, and the DeLand Elks, where she serves on the Veterans Services Committee.

Billie Jo has been married to Peter for over 20 years; she has a daughter, Alexis who is attending Florida State University and two cats, Haleigh and Sam. 

Through her community service Billie Jo has learned leadership skills and dealing with difficult situations. She is proficient in all of the laws affecting the mortgage industry due to her instructor training for mortgage professionals. Billie Jo has the years of experience and knowledge of the industry that you can trust will get the deal closed.
